Every one of us has visited and much familiar with Northern areas of Pakistan but you can also find the beauty and charm of nature in the Southern region of Pakistan like the Balochistan, the biggest province of Pakistan as it covers the highest area of Pakistan, therefore it not only has drylands and deserts but also has awesome places, from waterfalls to beaches. It has picturesque landscapes and dramatic mountains that’s why this place has tourism-worthy sites. The weather of Balochistan is warmer and pleasant in summers while the winter is freaking cold but the perfect time to visit this place is from October to July. There are some awesome and top places to visit in Balochistan areas Pir Ghayb, Moola Chotk, Jiwani Beach, Kund Malir beach, and the famous rock the “Princes of Hope” and a random Sphinx. A detailed note on each of these stunning places is as follows:

Pir Ghayb:

This magnificent place is located in Bolan, Balochistan which contains mysterious waterfalls with breathtaking views. There is a story behind the waterfalls that a saint named Pir Ghayb whom Allah Almighty has saved from the attack of wicked king’s men. It is also believed by the locals that the saint stuck his stick on the mountain and from that very point the water still flowing. There are a lot of ponds and running streams and anyone can enjoy swimming in the summer season. To sum up it is a perfect picnic and camping spot.

Moola Chotok:

Moola Chotok a hidden paradise located in the area of Khizdar. It is also known as Moola waterfall as the word “Chotok” means water falling from tall cliffs and you can find a lot of waterfalls big to small, from the tops. It is difficult to reach this place but you can enjoy the adventurous journey. It is a worthy place to visit due to its natural beauty of chanting waterfalls. The water is clean and enriched with a lot of minerals. This place also has camping and picnic points.

Kund Malir Beach:

Kund Malir is a very rich land with the natural land and it contains serene and a soothing beach which is known as one of the best beaches in the world and a spot of top tourist attraction. This desert beach’s shoreline is between the mountains and vast deserts which stunning and beautiful.

Jiwani Beach:

The Jiwani beach which is located in the town of Gwadar District is adorned with a lot of scenic beauty which can be enjoyed anytime. It is the most visited spot by many tourists especially to enjoy and experience the sunset view as in the evening when the sun sets the sky becomes dark orange and then light-dark. At that time the whole scene feels breathtaking and for this reason, a lot of people visit this place in the evening time.

Princes of Hope and a random Sphinx:

There are more stunning sites around the Kund Malir beach which are Princes of Hope and Sphinx and if you will ever visit this place you will think that you are in Egypt or an adventurous scene of Blockbuster film due to the famous rock formation “The Princess of Hope” the most attractive place which was named by the Hollywood actress Angelina Julie. Another fascinating place in this same area is Balochistan’s great Sphinx which is much similar to the mythological creature in Cairo.

Hanna Lake:

One of the most attractive places and visited lakes of Quetta city is Hanna Lake. This glistening lake is surrounded by hills and mountains and the Crystal Lake’s landscape and crystal blue color a perfect background to the sandy brown hills. This lake also fascinates the visitors for many other reasons like the lush green pine trees at the end of the river, the presence of Golden fishes in the lake, and the most important thing when the lake is covered with snow enhances its beauty and make it super attractive.

Astola Island, Gwadar/ Pasni:

The Astola Island which is the epitome of Balochistan’s beauty is also known island of the seven hills.  It is the largest island in Pakistan which has the small Rocky Mountains throughout this island. It is the best place for hiking as when you reached the top of the hills it gives you a worth view of this breathtaking island and its shores. Many others can also be enjoyed over here which are boating, fishing, sea diving, and so on.
