Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with a lot of scenic beauties and you can find a lot of attractive and picturesque lakes which are located in different places which are Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Swat valley and so on. Every year both in summers and winters a number of tourists visit to different parts of Pakistan especially in Northern areas and the main reason behind this is the breathtaking beauty of lakes. There are numerous lakes in Pakistan but here is the list of top ten beautiful lakes.

Saif-ul Malook Lake Naran:

One of the sites for tourists attraction in KPK is the lake Saif-ul-Malook due to its clear crystal and sea-green water. It is situated between the majestic mountains, in the Kaghan valley. This lake is also known as magical lake as when it gets freezed when the temperature fall below minus. Another reason for tourists attraction tale of fairies, long time ago a prince Named Saif-ul-Malook from Naran fell in love with a fairy princess named Badi-ul-Jamal and now it is believed that fairies visit overthere and used to dance along the lake.

The beauty of this lake is described in few lines:

“The water is greenish-blue and freezing in the Midwest of glaciers like Malika Parbat.”

Ansoo Lake Kaghan Valley:

“Ansoo” the lake of tears, is considered as one of the highest lakes in the Himalayas located in the valley of Kaghan. It takes a lot of hours to reach this lake and are two ways to vist. Firstly, you can get there from Saif-ul-Malook. Secondly, by the means of village of Mahandri in the South of Naran valley.

Tale of Ansoo Lake:

The Ansoo Lake’s tale is bound with the tale of the lake Saif-ul-Malook. There was a demon named Duo Safaid the white giant who fell in love with the fairy princess Badar Jamal but she already had fall in love with Prince Saif and when the giant come to know about this secret he cried a lot and his tears results in the formation of Ansoo Lake. No one knows whether this story is true or not but it really amuses a number of visitors to visit with their loved ones.

Attabad Lake Hunza:

The Attabad Lake is one of the beautiful lakes in the world as it is surrounded by dramatic mountains and the very clear blue colors of this stunning lake. This lake was formed due to massive land sliding but now due to the formation of the lake, it becomes a picnic spot especially for nature and boating lovers.

Shounter Lake:

Shounter is a delightful, scenic, and attractive lake. This lake is surrounded by dramatic mountains covered with snow and green grasslands. The water in the lake is due to the glaciers. It is the best spot for camping lovers as there is adequate space for the camps. From May to August a lot of tourists visit here to enjoy the scenery. The lake small but pretty much lovely, so never forget to visit this place when you are in Azad Kashmir.

Sheosar Lake:

The word Sheosar means blind, it is one of the highest and deep lakes. It is known as the heart of Deosai. This lake's deep blue water, snowy mountains, and greenery with wildflowers look amazing. Anyone can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain killer Nanga Parbat's snow-covered peak. The image of Nanga Parbat appears in the looks like the white paint has mixed up with the blue paint and this whole spectacle looks breathtaking.

Rama Lake:

On the top of the enthralling Astore Valley, there is Rama Lake. The path between Astore and Rama is full of lakes having a utopia for reconnecting with nature. Rama Meadows is a peaceful spot, enriched with nature and an eye of beauty, and an ideal place for trekking lovers. The path of Rama meadows leads to the eastern side of Nanga Parbat and the Rama Lake that gives you a glimpse of Nanga Parbat. This place is covered with snow for a large part of the year but in summer it's a perfect place to visit.

Naltar Lakes:

Naltar, a beautiful valley famous for its beauty and hi lakes. Every year especially in the summer season it is full of visitors to spend their holidays. It has three fascinating lakes which include Rainbow Lake, Blue star lake, and Badroko lake. The rainbow lake is enclosed between thick alpine forests whereas the Blue star has completely blue water and Badroko Lake is the dusty black one, situated on the top of Kottay, a place covered with mountains.

Hanna Lake:

One of the most attractive places and visited lakes of Quetta city is Hanna Lake. This glistening lake is surrounded by hills and mountains and the Crystal Lake’s landscape and crystal blue color a perfect background to the sandy brown hills. This lake also fascinates the visitors for many other reasons like the lush green pine trees at the end of the river, the presence of Golden fishes in the lake, and the most important thing when the lake is covered with snow enhances its beauty and make it super attractive.

Banjosa lake:

Banjosa Lake is enfolded by thick woodland and mountains. The favorite activity of visitors is boating as while boating in blue water, feeling the cool and fresh air, enjoying the surrounding spectacular beauty feels breathtaking. The best time to visit over here is summer but in the winters the lake gets freezes. This lake has paranormal views and enchanting scenery.
